Music Mark Award
We are delighted to announce that our commitment to music has been recognised with the award of a Music Mark of Recognition for 2025-2026. The school was first nominated by Slough Council in 2023.
The Music Mark of Recognition for Schools has been launched by Music Mark as a way for schools to receive recognition from their local music service for their provision and steps they are taking to improve their music education, with a certificate and logo to display.
Neil Sykes, Principal said “This award celebrates the importance placed on music as part of a broad and balanced curriculum. It recognises that all pupils in the school are able to access and engage with a high-quality music education.”
When receiving a Music Mark of Recognition, schools are asked to agree to the Music Mark of Recognition Pledges before they can download their certificate and logo. The pledges are:

- Welcome opportunities to broaden our musical horizons by working with providers in our community and beyond
There is a growing network of Music Mark schools across the UK who are supported with teaching resources and training. Its vision is for there to be accessible and excellent musical learning and engagement in and out of school, for all children and young people, which inspires and enriches their lives.
