We are delighted to announce that our Apprentices successfully passed their Level 3 Specialist Support for Teaching and Learning in Schools Diploma!

The training enabled the team to develop their knowledge and skills around child development, safeguarding, equality, diversity, and inclusion, all of which will have a hugely positive impact on our pupils.

It has taught me to understand all aspects of children and young people’s different aspects of development. It has shown me the ways in which I can ensure that all learning and individual achievements are approached and maintained within my everyday practice”

-Michelle, Apprentice

Specialist training also included “What is Autism”, and the Apprentices were able to write a reflective account to support the assessment criteria.

I have learnt the rate of development and how each child is different. I have studied Piagets theory of cognitive development which has given me the understanding as to why we set targets, which has made me feel more confident.

– Kira, Apprentice

Each Apprentice has worked incredibly hard, with the determination and the commitment to further their professional development and they now have the occupational standards to succeed within their career paths. A well deserved congratulations all round!
