“Difficult Conversations” Online Course

Hello!

Let me take this opportunity to tell you a bit more about myself!

My name’s Lyn and I’m the parent of 4 grown up children.  I am also a teacher and accredited ADHD Coach/ASD Advisor who has been doing my bit to be a go-to person for as many parents and carers as possible for more than 30 years.

I have already run the ‘Who’s in Charge?’ course twice at your school so some of you may know me or have seen me around already.

Parents frequently tell me that they often lack the necessary skills, sensitivity and patience when it comes to having any kind of conversation with their children, let alone having the confidence and/or relevant information required to bring up topics which are seen to be ‘difficult’.

So, I’ve created a useful online course that has video teaches and accompanying worksheets to support you to handle ‘Difficult Conversations’ confidently and successfully in a matter of hours.

The course includes a mini Pre- and Post-Course Self-Assessment Tool, an accompanying worksheet for each of the 5 modules.  There are also other supporting documents and relevant resources which you can print off in the moment and/or keep for later.

This course is based on an ‘OBSERVE, DO, REVIEW approach as it is an effective model for learning. I have also added a whole set of Bonus Teach Materials and Scripts which show the Observe, Do, Review approach in action.  The templates and scripts which you get as part of the course, and case study examples which have been filled in, will allow you to see and collect evidence of a ‘Difficult Conversation’ being handled successfully.

The Certificate of Completion at the end of the course will remind you of the learning and gains you have achieved as a result of your desire to encourage, develop and embed positive change over time.

By completing the process in a planned way, you are more likely to end up with a clear reason for your choices-cum-decisions as well as be more confident about putting them into practice!

Would love to hear what you think of it!

Best wishes and thank you for your interest –
