Dragon’s Den

Arbour Vale School held its own Dragons’ Den as part of Enterprise Week. Teams from a number of Secondary and Post 16 classes had the opportunity to present or ‘pitch’ their mini-enterprise projects to a panel of ‘Dragons’. We were extremely fortunate to have four very experienced business people join us for our Dragons Den session.

After each team had made their presentation, the panel discovered more about the projects by asking a number of questions. The Dragons were extremely impressed by the students’ presentations and by the creativity and effort which went into the enterprise projects.

Each team was presented with an ‘Outstanding Achievement’ certificate in our end of term assembly. Our thanks go to the visiting Dragons for helping to make the event such a rewarding experience for our young entrepreneurs!
