Arbour Vale School

Sensory Processing Workshop

Dear Parents/Carers,

We would like to invite you to our workshop on ‘Sensory Processing Difficulties’ hosted at Arbour Vale School on Tuesday, the 23rd January between 9:30 AM – 11 AM. The training session will be delivered by Lyuba Kisel, an ASD Teacher and Lead Practitioner.

We will present at the workshop practical daily programmes and activities to help parents improve children’s mental and physical wellbeing. We organised this workshop in response to parent’s feedback.

What will we cover?

  • What are Sensory Processing Difficulties (SDP)?
  • Who may have Sensory Processing Difficulties?
    • A child without an ASD may have sensory processing integration difficulties.
  • How SPD affects everyday life?
  • Practical activities to improve SPD: touch, smell, hear, see, taste and exercises.
  • Resources on how parents can be involved and help their child at home to maximise wellbeing and learning.

To book a space please email  Manjula.Odedra@arbourvaleschool.org to confirm your attendance. Places need to be reserved.

We are looking forward to seeing you at the workshop.
