Filming at Arbour Vale Satellite Centre

To celebrate the opening of the Satellite Centre this year, we invited a film crew in for the day to capture the new facilities and record how the learners are settling in to their new centre.

The film will be shared with families, prospective parents and carers and others in the Arbour Vale community to showcase our wonderful new provision.

During the day the crew captured the children in lessons including bucket time to help with communication and focus, PE and music. They were also filmed in the Sensory Room, Zen Den and Soft Play areas which are used to help the children regulate, as well as activities out in the playground.

Key members of staff explained how the Satellite Centre is an extension of Arbour Vale School and how the provision is replicated across both sites. We were also very grateful to parents who kindly spoke about their experiences of the school and the impact it is having on their child.

The production company are now pulling together all the footage in the editing room and we look forward to sharing the finished film with everyone soon.
