Final Preparations Underway at New Satellite Provision
Excitement is building as the new satellite provision for Arbour Vale School enters its final stages ahead of opening to students on 20 April.
The new building is now nearing completion, with bright, modern classrooms taking shape and spaces designed specifically to support the needs of learners. The focus now turns to preparing the environment for day-to-day school life, including the installation of furniture and specialist resources.
The satellite site has been developed to expand the school’s capacity and provide additional high-quality places for students with special educational needs, responding to growing demand across the local area.
Head of Centre, Sarah Mitchell, recently visited the new classrooms and shared her enthusiasm for the space:
“It’s fantastic to see everything coming together. The classrooms feel calm, purposeful and ready to become a place where our pupils can thrive from day one.”
The new provision will reflect the same inclusive ethos and high standards as the main school, ensuring pupils benefit from a consistent and supportive learning environment.
With opening day fast approaching, staff are looking forward to welcoming the first cohort of students into a space carefully designed with their needs in mind.
