Harry Potter Studio Tour
On 17th September we visited the Warner Brothers Studio Tour for The Making of Harry Potter. Pupils attended a VIP class on costume design and were able to see original wands and masks as well as ask questions about the films and sets.
The group spent the rest of the afternoon exploring the experience including visiting the Hogwarts Express, the night bus, Gringotts Bank and Professor Sprout’s greenhouse. Students who attended the trip then helped to plan and run workshops for the rest of the pupils in the school after a specially themed Harry Potter lunch.
Classes have gone on to created posters and newspapers as part of our Literacy focus that has used Harry Potter as a theme this term. All the amazing work is going on display in classrooms and around the school.
