July Parent Support Group
Dear Parents and carers
We would like to invite you to our last Parent Support Group coffee morning on Tuesday 11th July from 10am-11.30am .
The sessions will be run by The Autism Group, (https://www.theautismgroup.org.uk/) a charity with a wealth of experience who are here to help. The lead facilitating practitioners are highly experienced and are also parents of young people with autism.
The aim of this group is to share your experiences, talk about strategies, have a chat with other parents, or perhaps just sit and listen if this feels more comfortable to you. We want you to know that you are not alone and that there are other parents experiencing similar issues.
The Speech and Language team will briefly join us to give an overview of the service and find out what parents would like to hear about in a follow-up session in the new school year.
We will be talking about holidays and preparing for the summer break, with some useful tips to help you plan and thrive during the 6 weeks.
