School meals are cooked on the premises. These are planned by ISS catering and provide each child with a balanced diet. Attached below is a copy of the 3-week rolling menu plan.
Students in Early Years (Reception – Year 2) have Universal Free School Meals. School meals must be paid for, for students in Nursery and from Year 3 – Year 14.
School dinner costs for 2018 – 2019 are as follows:
- £2.29 a day (£11.45 a week) for Year N, Year 3 – Year 6 students
- £2.51 a day (£12.55 a week) for Year 7 – Year 14 students
Payments can be made on a weekly, monthly or termly basis through the online payments system.
As from September 2014 the government announced that every child in reception, year 1 and year 2 is entitled to have a free school meal.

If you prefer to send your child with a packed lunch we ask that lunch should be in a secure container, clearly marked with the pupil’s name.
Drinks should be in a plastic container with a secure lid.
- No glass bottles or tins
- No fizzy drinks or nuts
- In warm weather we advise you include a freezer pack in the sandwich box to keep the food cool.
