Parent Support Group

Arbour Vale School hosted another successful Parents Support Group  coffee morning on Tuesday 4th October.

The event was attended by 15 families in total. This included parents and carers from Arbour Vale school, as well as members of the wider Slough Community. Parents shared personal stories, strategies, challenging experiences as well as success stories.

Sheryl Malcolm, Parent Support Worker from the Autism Group facilitated the session. She discussed strategies and spoke with families to gauge the direction of future parent support sessions.

The coffee morning was also attended by speakers from Scottish and Southern Electricity Networks, offering families the priority to register for services to support in the advent of electricity power cuts and water supply issues.
