Parent Course in Urdu

By Support - April 4th, 2022 | Posted in News

With the help of our partner charity Parenting Special Children, we are offering a ‘Time out for Special Needs’ seven weeks course in Urdu so that families can experience learning new things in their own language and gain maximum benefit from the course content.

Professionals, who also have children with Special Educational Needs, will deliver the training. They will be sharing their knowledge as well as their own parenting experiences and discussing how they overcame obstacles.

This course will help parents to manage their child’s behaviours at home, how to help them cope with feelings, boost self-esteem and improve wellbeing in relation to the whole family.

Whilst Covid continues to be a source of concern in the community Arbour Vale School is continually seeking to support families at home with their child’s learning. We have listened to and acted upon parent feedback and this has led to some exciting new developments such as this course. As a result this face-to-face course will take place over 7 weeks, at Arbour Vale School. In order to gain maximum benefit, families should aim to attend all seven sessions.

The course will take place at the school on the following Monday mornings from 10-11.30am:

9th May

16th May

23rd May

6th June

13th June

20th June
