Primary Sports Day
Family and friends came out in force to support our Primary pupils at sports day. Classes took part in a number of activities including a penalty shootout, giant skittles and target throwing. There were also some fun activities like parachute games and musical statues to ensure all our learners could take part and enjoy the day.
After a short break, classes came back onto the secondary playing field and took part in running races. Pupils were supported by their families and members of staff and everyone was encouraged to join in the fun. We saw some amazing efforts particularly from those pupils who usually use a wheelchair or walker; one pupil even managed to crawl along the racetrack so she could take part independently with the rest of her class mates.
Special thanks to our sports leaders who helped with both the races and organising the different activity stations. Well done everyone, fantastic effort and great to see such sportsmanship and enjoyment on the day.
