Speech & Language

Clare Walker – Therapies Lead

Patricia Howard-Jones – Speech and Language Therapist

Laura Hogan – Speech and language Therapist (out of Borough)

We have implemented and commissioned speech and language therapy into every classroom. Classes have a designated teaching assistant who is overseeing the speech therapy for the children in their class and ensuring that therapy programmes advised by the therapist are being delivered. The speech and language therapy specialist teaching assistants will play a distinct role in recording, delivering and monitoring the programme following training from the speech and language therapist.

Our speech and language therapists will be assessing, reporting, writing targets and programmes and providing training and advice to staff delivering speech and language therapy programmes and approaches.
