Students flaunt their Nomination Certificate for the 2019 Bronze Finalists Industrial Cadets Award

Arbour Vale School is the ‘first SEN school’ to deliver the Industrial Cadets Go4Set programme. Supported by mentors from AkzoNobel and their teachers, the students decided to choose the topic ‘The Business of Recycling’ as they had previously studied pollution and the earth they wanted to take a new look at the schools recycling. Students conducted loads of investigation and assembled information from all over the school.

Because of their seamless presentation to the panel, specifically all the students taking turns. The judges could see clear teamwork skills and specific roles and responsibilities earning them the award for ‘Best Teamwork’ and also nominations for 2 categories for the 2019 Industrial Cadets Award Finalists:

  • UK Industrial Cadets Award for Bronze Level 2019
  • UK Industrial Cadets Award for School/ College 2019
