The Gruffalo came to visit for Red Nose Day
Staff and pupils threw themselves into a fun day of activities to raise money for Red Nose Day. They donated money to wear their own red clothes and noses and had a yummy cake sale.
Post-16 students showed off their amazing singing and dancing with an Open Mic Talent Show. PMLD learners enjoyed special Sensory sessions with bubbles and songs. For many of the pupils the visit from the Gruffalo was the highpoint of the day, as this is one of their favourite books. The Gruffalo was very friendly and there was no need for the Mouse (aka Pepper, the therapy dog) to step in and protect them.
