The Wonderful Wizard of Oz

As part of the Recovery Curriculum and the Arts Award Programme, the students from “AVH Bubble” were able to watch a show produced by M&M Theatrical Productions. Due to restrictions, only 1 actress, Helen, was able to come to our school. The other actors were seen on a screen and the show was interactive. The prompts were amazing and the students really enjoyed the acting, the music and the backdrops! It was fantastic to see some of our students who had not been able to socialise for the past 3 months get into the groove of the play and sing and dance together. After the show, Helen came to speak to AVH students and they were able to ask her questions about her work. This was a fantastic opportunity for the young people to understand the world of acting and how to become involved in the business.

The students all said they wanted to see another show so…watch this space!
